Banner

Banners are items that can be used as weapons or displayed in the world on top of a banner holder. When a banner is equipped and carried in the hand it grants potion-effects to the holder of the banner and all mobs standing nearby who belong to the same team. The potion boosts are Resistance, Speed, and Strength and last for 8 seconds or as long as the mobs are standing nearby. A mob who is carrying a banner is called a Bannerman. Bannermen charge into battle and execute melee attacks, striking opponents with their banner. Banners are available in 14 different designs.
